How do I fill the pendant?
Unscrew the loop at the top of the pendant to open a small fill hole. Add a small amount of ashes or fur using a folded piece of paper or a small funnel, then screw the loop back on firmly. For photos of every step, see our guide to filling an urn necklace.
Can I put my dog’s or cat’s ashes in this necklace?
Yes. The pendant is made to hold a small amount of cremated ashes from a dog, cat, or any pet, as well as fur or a tiny keepsake. Only a pinch is needed to fill it.
What can I engrave?
A name, a date such as 03.14.2024, or a short word like “Forever” — up to 10 characters. Emoji are not supported. Engraving is free and optional. Need ideas? See our engraving ideas that fit 10 characters.
Can each necklace in a set be different?
Yes. In a set of 2 or 3, every necklace has its own finish and its own engraving.
How should I care for it?
Keep it away from water: take it off before showering, swimming, washing your hands, or exercising, and store it somewhere dry. Keep it away from perfume and cleaning products, too.
When will my necklace arrive?
Most orders arrive in 11–18 business days with free tracked U.S. shipping (2–4 business days to make it, then 9–14 in transit).
What if it arrives damaged or isn't right?
Email support@pawtraittown.com with your order number and a few photos, ideally within 14 days of delivery. If it arrived damaged, defective, or made incorrectly, we'll send a free replacement, or refund you if we can't. You don't need to send anything back. Because each necklace is made to order, we can't accept returns for other reasons. See our refund policy.
