Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a perfect photo?
No. Any photo you love works, no need for a posed or front-facing shot. You don't need to make a drawing either; we turn your photo into the engraving. Good light and a clear view of their eyes help the portrait look its best. We look at every photo before we make your necklace.
How is the portrait created?
Your uploaded pet photo is used to create the portrait engraved on the front of the stainless steel disc.
Can I put more than one pet on the necklace?
Yes. Choose 2–5 discs and upload one pet photo for each disc.
Can I add a name or message?
Yes. You can add an optional pet name and an optional back engraving of up to 10 characters each, including spaces. Need ideas? See our engraving ideas that fit 10 characters.
Can the discs have different finishes?
Yes. Select Gold, Silver, or Rose Gold for each disc. The necklace chain matches the finish chosen for Disc 1.
What if it arrives damaged or isn't right?
Email support@pawtraittown.com with your order number and a few photos, ideally within 14 days of delivery. If it arrived damaged, defective, or made incorrectly, we'll send a free replacement, or refund you if we can't. You don't need to send anything back. Because each necklace is made to order, we can't accept returns for other reasons. See our refund policy.
